Ive had Fusion Pro for quite some time and have always liked it, also never had a problem with it. I also find the ergonomic shape very comfortable to use for 8 - 9 hours a day. The mouse is a high performance gaming mouse that I use because I like to have a very precise movement from my cursor while working. I have the mouse tracking issue in Fusion pro 8.5.8. My CISCO VPN tool is the one of many culprits here: Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, etc. The issue seems to be made worse if I have legacy software that doesn't handle the new window's scaling too well (as in the program appears blurry when scaled). As soon as I jump out of the VM (which I do for web browsing) and come back to it, I have the slow mouse movement issue. It seems to not be as bad if I swap to Unity mode and back to full screen, or if I start the VM and never cycle out of the VM. The mouse acts as if it is tracking poorly (big cursor appears as if I've moved the mouse very fast, although I'm moving the mouse barely at all).

Also, as I stated previously the issue does not occur if I run in Unity mode (although after the latest update for Sierra, Unity mode performs very very bad, almost like on a busted Linux install where the CPU is trying to do all the rendering). The lag only occurs inside of my Windows 10 VM in Fusion (same issue on 8.5, 8.5.2, and 8.5.3).

I do appreciate the input, but this is not the issue I am experiencing (although I had that issue all the time with Performance MX and purchased the MX Master because it can run over bluetooth, eliminating the dongle entirely ).

If this isn't fixed I'll try reinstalling mac os x, if that does't work, I'll get a PC. I tried to use bootcamp and my mac ssd has errors that can't be fixed so I can't partition. This was NEVER an issue in the last 5 years of using vmware and only STARTED once upgrading to MacOS Sierra (which I will never do again). VMWare said they would fix it in the next update, never did. I have so many "moves" in my muscle memory that now it's all thrown off. It's not so bad when using the computer, but in excel, where I'm constantly moving very quickly around clicking very fast, it makes it unusable. I have tried this so many times, moving the mouse in a constant motion on my desk, and you can see how it slows down and speeds up on the screen, but I don't think it is that noticeable to someone who isn't a "pro user". It becomes spotty, and sluggish during slow and precise movements. When I slow down to hover over icons, or select something, it decelerates quicker then my input. The mouse will track/move fine if I move quickly across the screen. If I swipe desktops (back to mac) or run VM in window and move mouse pointer OUT of VM, and back in VM machine, Problem begins.ĥ.

Mouse performs natively, smooth, and precise.Ĥ.
